AIAPGET 2026 Application Last Date 30 July: Form, Eligibility, Correction and Exam Details

Official NTA schedule checked Updated: 29 July 2026

AIAPGET application closes on 30 July: finish these steps first

The form submission window is almost over. Here is a clear last-day guide to eligibility, fees, documents, correction dates, the revised internship cut-off and the 22 August examination.

The AIAPGET 2026 application form is available on the National Testing Agency website, and candidates have only a short time left to complete it. According to the official schedule, online application submission will close on 30 July 2026 at 9:00 PM. Candidates who submit the form in time can pay the examination fee until 11:59 PM on the same day.

AIAPGET is the single entrance test used for admission to postgraduate Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy courses for the 2026–27 academic session. This means the form is important not only for All India Quota seats but also for state quota PG AYUSH admissions covered through the AIAPGET score.

The most important point: Registration, form completion, document upload and payment are separate parts of the process. Your application is not fully complete merely because an application number has been generated. Download the Confirmation Page after successful payment and check every detail printed on it.

Eligibility check

Who can apply for AIAPGET 2026?

Eligibility should be checked before paying the fee. NTA accepts the form provisionally, but final admission depends on document verification and the rules of NCISM, NCH and the relevant counselling authority.

1

Recognised AYUSH degree

You should hold a BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS or Graded BHMS degree, or a recognised provisional pass certificate, under the applicable NCISM or NCH provisions.

2

Registration certificate

You should possess a permanent or provisional registration certificate for the relevant qualification issued by the competent council, commission, State Board or UT Board.

3

One-year internship requirement

You should have completed the compulsory one-year rotating internship or be likely to complete it within the officially permitted cut-off date.

4

Citizenship and age

The bulletin states that applicants must be Indian citizens. It also states that there is no upper age limit for AIAPGET 2026.

Fresh update: internship cut-off extended to 31 October

The original Information Bulletin mentioned 31 August 2026. NTA later issued a separate public notice revising the internship completion cut-off to 31 October 2026 for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy candidates. This is the current date candidates should use while checking internship eligibility.

If your internship is scheduled to finish after 31 August but on or before 31 October 2026, this revised notice is especially important for you. Keep the correct internship start and completion dates in the form because the original completion certificate will be required during counselling.

Candidates already pursuing a postgraduate course should also check the rules of the university or institution where they may seek admission. Some institutions do not allow admission to another PG course until the existing course has been completed. Qualifying AIAPGET alone does not override such institutional conditions.

Form route

How to fill the AIAPGET 2026 application form

The application is completely online. Do not send a printed form or certificates to NTA unless the agency specifically asks for them later. Use your own active mobile number and email address because examination communication will be sent through those details.

  1. Open the official registration page

Go through the AIAPGET website at exams.nta.nic.in/aiapget and use the candidate activity link for AIAPGET 2026 registration. Avoid links forwarded through unknown groups.

  2. Create the registration profile

Enter the required personal and contact details, create a password, choose a security question and note the system-generated application number. You will need this number for every future login.

  3. Complete personal and academic details

Select the correct discipline and programme, enter educational qualifications, registration details and internship dates, and review spellings against your official documents.

  4. Select four examination cities

Choose four convenient cities in order of preference. NTA will try to allot a preferred city, but a different city may be assigned for administrative or logistical reasons.

  5. Capture the live photograph and upload files

Use proper lighting and a plain, light-coloured background. Your face and both ears should be clearly visible. Upload your own unfiltered photograph, signature and applicable certificate in the prescribed format.

  6. Pay the fee and save proof

Pay through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI. The application is successfully completed only when the Confirmation Page is generated. Download the page and payment proof in PDF form.

If payment is debited but the Confirmation Page is not generated: the portal may not have recorded a successful application. Follow the payment-status instructions, contact the concerned payment gateway or bank, and complete a fresh payment if required. NTA states that duplicate successful payments are reconciled and refunded later.
Upload check

Documents and image sizes required

Keep the files ready before opening the final form page. A blurred signature, edited photograph or unreadable certificate may create a verification problem later.

File Accepted format Prescribed size
Recent passport-size colour photograph JPG/JPEG 10 KB to 200 KB
Candidate signature JPG/JPEG 10 KB to 30 KB
Identity proof, where applicable JPG/JPEG 10 KB to 200 KB
PwBD or disability certificate, if applicable PDF 50 KB to 300 KB

The passport photograph should be recent, in colour, against a white background, and should show about 80% of the face without a mask. NTA advises candidates not to upload morphed, AI-generated, filtered or heavily edited photographs. Aadhaar is recommended for easier authentication, but the bulletin permits another valid government-issued identity document when Aadhaar is not used.

Final check before pressing Submit

  • Name and date of birth match the identity document
  • Correct AYUSH discipline and qualification selected
  • Internship start and completion dates are accurate
  • Category and PwBD status are supported by valid documents
  • Four examination cities are arranged in the right order
  • Photograph and signature belong to the candidate
  • Mobile number and email address are active
  • Confirmation Page is generated after payment
Fee guide

AIAPGET 2026 application fee

The examination fee varies by category. Bank or payment-gateway processing charges and applicable GST are charged separately.

Category Application fee
General (UR) ₹2,700
General-EWS / OBC-NCL ₹2,450
SC / ST / PwBD / Third Gender ₹1,800

OBC-NCL candidates should verify that their community is included in the current Central List. A candidate covered only by a state OBC list cannot automatically claim the Central OBC-NCL benefit. Select the category carefully and keep the supporting certificate ready for verification.

Correction window

What can you do from 1 to 2 August?

NTA will open the AIAPGET 2026 application correction window from 1 August to 2 August 2026. It is meant for candidates who have already submitted their application. It is not a second registration period for new candidates.

Use the window for

  • Reviewing the submitted particulars carefully
  • Editing only those fields enabled by NTA
  • Saving the corrected form within the available period
  • Downloading the revised Confirmation Page, if generated

Do not assume that

  • Every field will be open for editing
  • A new application can be submitted during correction
  • NTA will accept changes through email or WhatsApp
  • A correction request will be accepted after 2 August

The Information Bulletin does not provide a field-by-field correction matrix. The actual editable options will be those displayed by NTA in the candidate login or mentioned in a separate correction notice. Candidates should therefore avoid online claims that say every detail can be changed.

Photograph and signature warning: Upload the correct files during the original application itself. The bulletin specifically asks candidates to upload their own photograph, signature and certificate correctly and warns that a future correction facility should not be assumed for these files.

AIAPGET 2026 exam date and paper pattern

The entrance test will be held on 22 August 2026 in Computer Based Test mode. Each candidate appears in the paper for the relevant AYUSH discipline. The syllabus follows the graduate-level education regulations of the respective discipline issued by NCISM or NCH.

Questions 120 MCQs
Maximum marks 480
Duration 120 minutes
Marking +4 / −1

Every correct answer carries four marks, one mark is deducted for an incorrect response, and an unanswered question receives zero marks. Since negative marking applies, accuracy and question selection matter along with speed.

Discipline Question paper medium
Ayurveda Hindi and English
Homoeopathy English only
Siddha Tamil and English
Unani Urdu and English

If there is any ambiguity in a translated question, the English version will be treated as final. The exact shift, examination centre and reporting instructions will be printed on the admit card.

Avoid rejection

Common last-day mistakes candidates should avoid

  • Stopping after registration: An application number alone does not mean the full form has been submitted.
  • Paying without checking the status: Save the Confirmation Page. If it is not generated, investigate the transaction immediately.
  • Submitting multiple forms: The bulletin permits only one application per candidate, and multiple applications can lead to cancellation.
  • Entering estimated internship dates: Use accurate dates because the original internship completion certificate will be checked during counselling.
  • Using a family member’s mobile number or email: Use contact details that you can access throughout the exam and admission process.
  • Choosing the wrong category: Reservation benefits are subject to certificate verification and the rules of the counselling authority.
  • Uploading edited images: Filtered, AI-generated or heavily modified photographs may be rejected during verification.
  • Depending on unofficial links: Apply only through the official NTA AIAPGET website and verify every new notice there.
After the form

What happens after AIAPGET registration?

Once the form and correction period are over, NTA will announce the advance city intimation slip and admit card dates on the examination website. The city slip gives advance information about the allotted examination city; it is not the admit card. The admit card will carry the final centre, shift, reporting time and discipline.

After the 22 August examination, NTA will display recorded responses and a provisional answer key for a limited period. Candidates will be able to challenge the provisional key online by paying the prescribed processing fee. The result and scorecard will then be released on the AIAPGET website.

NTA conducts the examination and declares the result, but it does not run counselling. AACCC conducts counselling for the covered All India Quota seats, while the designated state and UT authorities handle their respective quota seats according to their own eligibility, domicile and reservation rules.

Final word

Complete the form first, then return to preparation

The AIAPGET application process is manageable when every step is completed in order. Check eligibility, enter genuine details, upload clear files, pay the correct fee and save the Confirmation Page. The correction window can help with permitted mistakes, but it should not be treated as a reason to submit the original form carelessly.

Once the application is safely complete, shift your attention back to discipline-wise revision, PYQs and timed practice. With the examination scheduled for 22 August, the remaining preparation period should be used for accurate recall and mock-test analysis rather than random resource switching. Save this page and share it with an eligible AYUSH graduate who may still have an incomplete form.

Accuracy note: This guide was checked against the official NTA AIAPGET 2026 application notice, Information Bulletin and internship cut-off notice available on 29 July 2026. NTA may issue a corrigendum or fresh notice. Candidates should verify the latest status on the official website before taking action.
