An engineering fresher receives six messages: GET hiring open, any branch eligible, 65% required, ₹10 LPA package, apply before midnight and pay ₹499 for a guaranteed assessment. The confusion is obvious: is it campus or off-campus, is GET the same as Graduate Trainee, and does Polaris apply to everyone?

HCLTech recruitment 2026 for freshers includes more than one route. The correct starting point is the official campus page and fresher portal, not the most exciting salary thumbnail.

Quick answer: The fresher portal and campus Apply Now route are live, but no common public GET form with one clearly stated universal batch and deadline was confirmed on 19 July 2026. A live fresher portal is not proof that every HCLTech fresher role is currently accepting applications.

Graduate Trainee

General-graduate route for BA, BBA, B.Com, BCA, B.Sc and B.Pharma on the checked page. Roles can cover Finance, HR, tech projects and compliance.

Management Graduate

GET is a trainee entry title, not one fixed daily job. Depending on business unit and project, work may include software development, testing, engineering services, product support, infrastructure, cloud, networks, cybersecurity, data, automation, maintenance, documentation and problem investigation.

What “Throughout Academics” Means

If AMP asks for 65% throughout, the safe reading is that Class 10, Class 12 or diploma, and graduation must each independently meet 65%. A candidate with 80%, 64% and 75% does not become eligible by averaging the three scores.

Use the university's official CGPA conversion formula, keep proof, never round marks upward and verify provisional or supplementary results carefully.

The AMP percentage rule should not be copied into every HCLTech vacancy.

Are All Engineering Branches Eligible?

The checked AMP FAQ says engineering degree in any branch. That is programme-specific. A specialised HCLTech role can still require a particular discipline or skill.

CSE and IT

Prepare coding, DSA, DBMS, OS, networks and projects.

ECE and EEE

Add programming and IT fundamentals while revising relevant branch basics.

Mechanical and Civil

Verify the exact role; build coding proof if the assessment includes programming.

Other branches

Do not rely only on the any-branch line. Read the campaign.

M.Tech and M.E.

Check specialisation, batch and whether the role accepts postgraduates.

Can BCA or B.Sc Students Apply?

BCA and B.Sc candidates should not treat the engineering GET route as their route unless a current notice explicitly includes them. The checked campus page places them under Graduate Trainee. Students planning a job after BCA without MCA should check the work description because Graduate Trainee can include Finance, HR, compliance or tech projects rather than one fixed developer role.

Coding or Technical Test

The checked page states 60–90 minutes. Prepare arrays, strings, loops, functions, sorting, searching, hashing, OOP, DBMS, SQL, OS and networks.

Momentum or Polaris Depth

Add stronger DSA, trees, graphs, dynamic programming, complexity, clean code, timed contests and multiple approaches.

No exact question count, negative marking or sectional cut-off should be assumed without the candidate communication.

Versant Speaking and Listening Test

The checked AMP page lists a score range of 46–56 at B1 level for its Versant stage. This should not be treated as the universal requirement for every HCLTech job.
