Understand the paper before choosing a playlist
According to the current State CET Cell information brochure, MAH MCA CET is an online, English-medium objective test. Every question carries two marks and there is no negative marking. The two highest-weight sections are Mathematics and Statistics and Logical/Abstract Reasoning, but English and Computer Concepts together still contribute 80 marks. Ignoring either smaller section can make a large difference to the final score.

Mathematics and Statistics Track
Build the method first; speed comes after repeated problem solving.
Mathematics is usually the section where students from non-mathematical graduation backgrounds feel the greatest pressure. The official syllabus goes beyond basic aptitude. It includes algebra, coordinate geometry, differential equations, trigonometry, probability and statistics, arithmetic, set theory, functions and mensuration. If you study only percentages, ratios and shortcut videos, a large part of the paper remains uncovered.
Begin with algebra and arithmetic because these topics support many later chapters. Then move to coordinate geometry and trigonometry before taking up probability, statistics and differential equations. For every formula, solve enough questions to recognise when it should be used. Formula notes are useful, but formula notes without problem practice are not preparation.

The official brochure describes this section broadly: it checks how quickly and logically a candidate can think, understand given facts and solve a problem. In practice material, students commonly work on series, analogy, coding-decoding, blood relations, directions, syllogism, arrangements, clocks, calendars and visual patterns. Treat these as preparation areas, not as a replacement for the official syllabus.
Reasoning improves when you compare different forms of the same question. First learn the basic rule, then solve a small topic set, and finally practise a mixed set where the topic name is not shown. Mixed practice is important because the actual test does not tell you which method to apply.

These areas require both rule-based learning and regular exposure to language.
If your English is weak, begin with sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, tenses, articles, prepositions and common error patterns. Read one short passage every day and write the main idea in a single sentence. For vocabulary, learn words through usage instead of collecting a large list that you never revise.

Use this short English playlist for exam-style MCQs on grammar, idioms and related verbal topics. It works best as a drill source after basic rules are understood.

Follow a 25-minute daily cycle: 8 minutes of grammar, 7 minutes of vocabulary revision and 10 minutes of reading or questions. Review every error by writing the rule or clue that you missed.
Computer Concepts Track
Separate conceptual chapters from fact-heavy revision.
Computer Concepts is not limited to basic hardware terminology. The official syllabus includes computer organisation, CPU and instruction structure, input-output devices, memory, backup devices, data representation, binary and hexadecimal numbers, binary arithmetic, Boolean algebra, truth tables, computer architecture, interrupts, assembly and high-level languages, C programming and operating-system basics.
Divide this section into two notebooks. In the first, keep concepts and working steps such as number conversion, binary arithmetic, Boolean expressions and C output questions. In the second, keep short factual revision such as device types, memory hierarchy, language generations and operating-system terms. This makes revision faster than mixing every topic in one long notebook.

Use previous-paper videos to study patterns, not rumours
PYQ practice is valuable because it shows the depth, wording and time pressure of the exam. However, students should notice the difference between an officially released paper and a memory-based question discussed after an exam slot. Many YouTube “previous year” sessions are reconstructed from candidate recall. They are still useful for practice, but they should not be treated as an official answer key unless the source clearly proves that.

Begin with section tests when around half of the syllabus is complete. A full mock taken too early often measures only what you have not studied. Once the first syllabus pass is over, take one full mock each week. In the final three weeks, increase the frequency according to your recovery and analysis time.
The following 90-minute split is only a starting model, not an official order. Try it in two or three mocks and change it according to your strengths. Because the current pattern has no negative marking, keep a final review window and avoid leaving answerable questions blank. Still, do not spend several minutes on one question simply because there is no penalty.

A practical 30-day plan for students who know the basics

Connect with PYQs
Study probability, statistics, mixed reasoning, vocabulary, C programming and OS basics. Solve recalled-paper sets and identify repeated weak areas.
Enter test mode
Attempt three to four full simulations with a rest or analysis day between them. Revise the error log, formula sheet and computer fact cards.
What to avoid while studying free from YouTube
Select one main course. Use another channel only when a topic remains unclear or you need more questions.
Fast playback is useful for revision, but it can hide weak steps in Mathematics, binary arithmetic and reasoning.
A popular video is not automatically relevant. Keep the brochure topics beside your playlist and mark coverage.
Check whether a question is official, memory-based or only PYQ-style. All can help, but they are not the same evidence.
MAH MCA CET gives less than one minute per question on average. Speed must be trained, not expected automatically.
