The CUET UG Result 2026 was declared by the National Testing Agency on 23 June 2026. Candidates can download the CUET UG scorecard from the official website using the credentials requested on the login page. However, this result does not automatically register you for Delhi University, BHU, JNU, Allahabad University or any other participating institution.
NTA conducts the examination and issues the score. The university makes the course-wise merit list, announces the CUET cut-off or minimum allocation score, verifies documents and offers the seat. This difference is the most important thing to understand after the result.
How to download the CUET UG Result 2026 scorecard
The safest route is to begin from the official CUET UG website instead of opening an unknown result link shared on social media. The NTA scorecard page connects candidates to the official examination-services login.

CUET marks, normalized score and percentile are not the same
Many students download the CUET UG 2026 result and immediately search for a fixed marks-versus-percentile chart. That can create more confusion because CUET subjects may be held in multiple shifts and the admission calculation can change from one university programme to another.
Your exam performance
These come from your recorded answers and the final answer key. Under the official marking scheme, a correct answer carries +5, an incorrect answer carries -1 and an unattempted question carries 0.
Multi-shift adjustment
For a subject conducted in more than one shift, NTA uses the official equi-percentile method to make scores from different sessions comparable.
Your relative position
A percentile is not your percentage of marks. It indicates your relative position among candidates in that test and is calculated separately for the relevant subject or session.
If your scorecard shows a 95 percentile, it does not mean that you scored 95 percent of the maximum paper marks. It represents relative performance. You should therefore avoid converting your percentile into marks through an unofficial one-line formula.
The university may combine only the CUET subjects allowed for that course. It may also apply category, tie-breaking, Class 12 eligibility and other programme rules. Read the university’s admission bulletin before calculating your chances.
The NTA result notice also shows the scale of competition: one candidate achieved the 100 percentile level in four selected subjects, 22 candidates did so in three subjects, 180 in two subjects and 3,214 in one subject. These figures are useful for understanding competition, but they do not create a common all-India cut-off for every course.
There is no single central CUET UG counselling portal
CUET UG is a common entrance examination, but its admission process is decentralized. NTA does not allot a college seat. Every participating university can run a separate registration portal, charge its own counselling fee, ask for a different course preference order and publish its own merit or allocation lists.
You already registered with the university
- Check whether preference filling is complete and locked.
- Read the latest merit list or seat-allocation notice.
- Accept the seat and pay the admission fee before the stated deadline.
- Track upgrade, freeze and withdrawal rules separately.
You have a score but did not register
- Open the university’s official admission page immediately.
- Check for an extension, mid-entry option or later spot round.
- Do not assume NTA has already sent an admission form on your behalf.
- Keep backup universities ready because missed deadlines may not reopen.
Your Class 12 result or improvement result is involved
- Check the university rule for result-awaited or updated marksheets.
- Upload only the document and undertaking format requested officially.

CUET university counselling portals students should check now
The status below was checked on 29 July 2026. Admission pages change quickly, so treat the official university portal as the final authority for registration, preference filling, allocation, fee payment and reporting deadlines.
For another central university, start from the official CUET participating central-universities list, locate the institution and then move to that university’s own admission website. For state, deemed or private institutions, verify the current CUET participation and course mapping on the concerned university’s official portal. Never pay a counselling fee through a link that cannot be reached from the official university domain.

CUET UG 2026 university admission process
The exact names of the phases can change, but most CUET university counselling systems follow this route. Completing the NTA exam is only the first stage.

Who releases the CUET cut-off 2026?
The participating university prepares its own merit, minimum allocation score or programme cut-off using its approved CUET subject combination and admission rules.
A “good CUET score” cannot be judged through percentile alone. Your admission chance depends on the course, university, category, seat matrix, permitted test-paper combination, number of applicants, preference order and the current counselling round.

Use previous-year cut-offs only as a planning reference. Do not remove a realistic preference simply because an unofficial predictor shows a low probability, and do not place a course above another option unless you are actually willing to join it.
