SSC CGL National Income Mock Test 2026: 50 MCQs with Detailed Answers

National Income becomes confusing when GDP, GNP, NDP and NNP start appearing together. The formulas are not very difficult, but one word such as gross, net, domestic or national can completely change the calculation.

50 National Income MCQs 30 Minute Practice GDP and GVA Nominal and Real GDP Detailed Answers
Quick Formula Notebook
GDP to NDP NDP = GDP - Depreciation
GDP to GNP GNP = GDP + Net Factor Income from Abroad
GNP to NNP NNP = GNP - Depreciation
GDP Deflator Nominal GDP / Real GDP x 100
Per Capita Income National Income / Population

National Income is one of those topics where students often know the full forms but still make mistakes in the question. GDP and GNP may look almost the same, while NDP and NNP become confusing because both involve depreciation.

The easiest way to solve these questions is to read every word separately. Domestic tells you where the production happened. National tells you whose factor income is being considered. Gross means depreciation is still included, while Net means depreciation has been removed.

This mock test gives you direct concept questions as well as small calculation and inclusion-exclusion questions. The goal is not to memorise fifty answers. The goal is to make the formula clear enough that you can handle a slightly changed question in the exam.
